Company Background Turtle Beach is an industry leader in the design, manufacture, marketing and support of headsets for XBOX/PS3 console and PC gaming. Located in Westchester, NY, we have been developing audio products for more than 30 years. Our products are sold world wide, and to major US retailers such as Best Buy, Game Crazy, Amazon.com, Gamestop and others.
We are seeking an individual with knowledge of XBOX, PS3 and/or PC gaming to develop and manage our marketing objectives and initiatives. Please do not apply for this position unless you are an avid XBOX, PS3 or PC gamer.
Duties and Responsibilities · Plan and coordinate the execution of promotional marketing campaigns and email campaigns to the company’s customer base · Manage the content and marketing requirements for the company website · Develop schedules, manage calendars, and budgets to keep projects on track · Manage the online company image by monitoring online forums, communities, and other related online portals · Attend sales meetings with key clients as the product specialist. Some travel is required. · Attend trade shows, gaming events and exhibitions. Some travel is required. · Keep tabs on console and PC gaming industry developments to assist in the definition of new products and improve existing products · Monitor competitor products and industry trends to take preemptive and responsive actions · Write press releases and product copy for new product introductions · Interface with reviewers, answer technical questions, follow up on review status, create summary sheets of key features for products being reviewed. · Identify, evaluate and execute third-party co-marketing opportunities
Requirements:
Requirements · Good understanding of console and/or PC gaming industry · Experience playing XBOX, PS3 and/or PC games. · Bachelors Degree. · 5+ years of marketing experience with 2+ years of marketing management experience. · Planning, organizational and execution skills with the ability to drive plans to completion. · Positive outlook and good people skills · Proficient computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, etc. · Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent grammar and spelling · Knowledge in new media, Internet related technologies and current web trends · Currently, there is no relocation package.
